Our Process 

Our website project management process follows four consistent steps: 

1. First, we will navigate the Project Setup and Briefing Phase. 

2. Next, we will enter the Website Design Phase. This phase includes 3 rounds of edits to perfect the design. 

3. We will then enter the Website Development Phase. This phase includes 3 rounds of edits to perfect the website. 

4. Finally, we will enter the Website Promotion and Go Live Phase. 

   This step includes our 18-point quality check process in the live environment. 

What We Need from You 

The Brief

• We will send you a briefing template to fill out in detail. The more information you provide us with in the brief, the smoother the design phase of the project will go. We will not start design work without a complete brief. 

 Hosting Logins

• Your team will need to supply server login details before work begins. This gives us the opportunity to test the server for size, speed, and configuration before we start loading the live website.  If we can check this at the start of a project, it gives us weeks to resolve any issues instead of having to resolve them once the project is nearly complete, thus causing unnecessary delays.

Website Collateral 

• Logos, images, and any other collateral for the website need to be delivered early to ensure a smooth design and development process.  

Content 

• Preparing content is a time-consuming task. This should be worked on from the start of the project so that the content is ready for implementation as soon as the Development Phase begins.

• Typically, you will have two weeks to collect all content before our team requires it. Our team will communicate the critical stages of our process with you and make it clear when a delay in delivery on your end will result in a delayed project. Please try and ensure timely delivery of all requirements, but respect that in cases where there is a delay on your end, we will need additional time to complete the website. 

Scope Management 

Occasionally, we find that a project’s scope changes midway through the process in one of two ways: 

1. A project’s scope will grow, with additional requirements being added to the original brief. In this instance, we will note the changes to the scope and provide you with a quote and or revert to the original scope. Often, a preferred option is to complete the initial project, and then complete the additions as a post-implementation project. 

2. A project’s scope will completely change. In this instance, we will review the revised scope and provide you with a new quote and estimated timeline. You will then need to review the new quote and deadline and either continue with the new project or revert to the original scope.
